Mr. Joan Carretero, Reagrupament‘s President, wants to join forces with Mr. Joan Laporta and Mr. Joan Puigcercós. Mr. Carretero has declared that he will be in touch in mid-September with both of them to try to form an independentist “grand-coalition” in order to participate to the forthcoming Catalonia elections to be held in autumn.

Recent polls show a growing support for Catalonia Independence among Catalan citizenship. A La Vanguardia recent poll, even go further, as stated that in a referendum, Independence option will prevail on a 47% (FOR)-36% (AGAINST) basis.
